Recently, the owner of a property we manage needed a repair in order to place her home on the market. Our team sent her several estimates, but she rejected them, believing the costs were too high. However, she didn’t have the context of current market prices.

From our maintenance department, the area manager took the time to speak directly with the owner, explaining the real market situation and showing her how the longer the process was delayed, the more time the property would remain without generating income. By trying to save an initial expense, she was risking losing more money in the long run.

The owner understood the importance of acting quickly and immediately approved the repair. Today, the property is practically ready to be listed and find a tenant as soon as possible.
